Local economies do not recognize county boundaries, as talent and capital flow freely across these political borders.Henry County is fortunate to be located amidst a number of communities in East Central Indiana that provide for positive economic dynamics.

The region that influences Henry County’s economy consists of the counties adjacent to its boundaries.These counties include Delaware, Randolph, Madison, Wayne, Rush, Hancock and Fayette.While Henry County does have an economic relationship with Marion County (Indianapolis), this county was omitted from the region.
